Header Beams and Legs
The beams that span the top of the set are built out of 1 x material and are open on the tops to minimize weight and maximize ease of install. The small bundles of 2 x 4s are the legs for the deck platforms.

Upright Beams
The upright posts for the walls and door frames are made from 4 x 4 treated lumber. The ends that connect the upright beams to the door headers are cut for a half-lap joint. The bottoms are grooved to fit over a 2 x 4 runner on the deck.

Door Headers
Two of the 3' door headers. Each end has a half-lap to connect to the upright posts.

Door Casing 1
The door casing is hand made from 1 x 4 common pine with a router table.

Door Casing 2
The middle groove is made with a cove bit. The side grooves are made with a v-groove bit.

Door Casing 3
The door cassing attached and painted. 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" rosettes were used in the corners.

Baseboard 1
The baseboard is hand-made from 1 x 8 common pine and a router table.

Baseboard 2
The top is made with a 45 degree chamfer bit. The bottom detailing is made with a v-groove bit and a cove bit.

Bay Windows Front
The front of the bay window flats. The wall consists of 5 flats, each has at least one 22.5 degree angle on it to create a 45 degree nook.

Bay Windows Back
The back of the bay window wall. The windows are simple single-hung windows.

Window Closeup
The window frames are 1 1/2" wide. There is a window sill made from a notched piece of 2 x 6.
